Women in Crisis & the Summer Soirée
Every day in Canada, thousands of women and children seek refuge from violence, turning to emergency shelters for safety and support. Here in Guelph, Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis provides that lifeline through, offering emergency shelter, counselling, crisis support, and programs that help survivors rebuild their lives.

But safety is only the first step. With limited transitional housing available locally, many families face significant challenges as they work toward a stable and secure future.
Our Story
The Summer Soirée brings our community together to change that. By attending, sponsoring, or donating, you are helping provide shelter, support, and hope to hundreds of women and children each year. Together, we can help families move beyond crisis and toward a future where safety, dignity, and stability are possible for everyone.
